Muddy boots & paws welcome!

Finally - after what ended up being a 112 day wait - we were able to open our doors (just the outside ones!) to our loyal customers at The Ship Inn on the 16th April. We spent the second half of lockdown 3.0 getting our beer garden and outside space ready for welcoming you all back and with the exceptional help of Martin Dowling of Rushton Spencer, we have converted our car park in to an outdoor restaurant to comply with current government regulations

Our opening hours are currently as follows:

Monday – Thursday: CLOSED (Except Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May)

Friday: 12.00pm – 8.00pm

Saturday: 12.00pm – 8.00pm

Sunday: 12.00pm – 8.00pm

Please be aware that our hours may vary depending on the weather. We may choose to open until 9pm on nice days and we are constantly reviewing Thursday’s in case of sunshine! Our aim is to be open as normal and indoors, seven days a week by the 17th May.

We can’t wait to welcome you back properly and we highly recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment. Our phone lines won't be manned during the week so drop us an email at for all booking enquiries.

Thank you for your continued support through these troubled times, it truly means a lot!
